Lance Armstrong should have to repay his Tour de France winnings after being stripped of his seven titles, says race director Christian Prudhomme.

The International Cycling Union stripped Armstrong of his results since 1 August 1998 after ratifying a US Anti-Doping Agency report on him.
Tour director Prudhomme called the UCI's decision "totally logical".
And he added: "The UCI rules are clear. When a rider is disqualified, he must pay the prize money back."
It has been estimated that amstrong won 2.4 m us dollar as a cyclist
Lance Armstrong appears to have accepted that there are some battles that even he cannot fight after the disgraced cyclist removed the seven Tour de France titles from his Twitter profile.
The Texan - who famously wrote: “Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever” - has been resolute in his silence since the United States Anti-Doping Agency (Usada) report into his doping programme broke this month But after the international cycling union (ICU) took the decision this month to strip him of  the titles he won between 1999 and 2005, armstrong has accepted he no longer call himself a tour de france champion.
